14th Nov 2017:- Childrens’ Day in the school was celebrated with full zest and enthusiasm.  The day began with the school assembly conducted by the teachers.  The teachers entertained the students by giving a short outstanding and mesmerizing performance. They recited self composed inspirational poems and melodious songs.

The teachers conducted a quiz competition for the children with Nikita Malhotra as the resource person who made the questions hour very lively for the children. The Mock Parliament conducted by the students on Political issues seemed to be quite interesting for the students.

Then our Principal Sr. Sheela blessed the children to become good citizens and it is the need of the hour and that they should be the instruments to bring joy to their family and society.  She focused on the children loving their innocence and behaving like grown up and wished them to remember their culture learn to respect themselves, teachers and parents that Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru wanted to instill in their children. That they should become like little children without which they cannot enters the kingdom of heaven.

A mini-fete was organized by the teachers where they lavishly enjoyed Golgappas, Jhalmuri, Patties and Samosas.  The proceeding of the fete will be utilized for the welfare of the poor children.  Altogether it was a fun packed day.
