9th May 2017 : The memories of a glorious past is always a source of incessant inspiration to the builder of the future.

Goodbyes are not forever.

Goodbyes are not the end

They simply means will miss you

Until we meet again

The Josephian staff assembled together in the auditorium in senior school premises to bid farewell.  We commence the day with a prayer service as a mark of our undying tradition to invoke the almighty.

Sr. Meera, the manager of the school, Sr. Sheela he principal, Sr. Lovely the headmistress, Sr. Vasnthi, the vice principal and other sister graces the occasion by their benign presence. The teachers welcome sisters by presenting a bouquet. This was followed by a melodious song by junior teachers an emotional poem by Swagatha teacher and a solo song by Arun Sir and Dhilp Sir.

Roli teacher in her farewell message to Sr. Lovely praised her for efficient running of the school. Taking challenge and the great contribution. She has made for the welfare of children and humanity.  Then Kamya teacher and Ritesh sir presented an appreciation letter to Sr. Lovely. “Memories embedded forever power point presentation by the teachers took us down the lanes of the yester years.

Then Nandini teacher gave a farewell message for Sr. Vasanthi with a heavy heart.  How she had been so supportive and helpful as a colleague and how it feels nostalgic of working with her has to come to an end and her departure will leave our grounds barren and dry.

Then Sr. Vasnathi in her departing message with tears filled eyes thanked each and everyone for their co-operation and support working with her.  Sr. Meera in her message for Sr. Lovely and Sr. Vasanthi felt proud of sisters service and thanked them for rendering their service and support, shouldering their responsibilities, have assures her how things are and did it.  That they were open to all suggestions and did a lot in the character formation of the students.

Then Debrata Sir presented a melodious song followed tokens of love given to Sr. Lovely, Sr. Vasanthi, Sr. Elizabeth, Sr. Jyothi, Sr. Sonia.  Sr. Sheela in her departing words for Sr. Lovely and Sr. Vasanthi said that they have added beauty and purpose to her life and the difference they have made to this institution will always be remembered.  She wished them all the best for their new journey to a new place with new responsibilities and new language.

As we say good bye we remind ourselves that farewells are not forever, nor are they the end, They are simply words to say that we miss you sister and that we will remember you, fondly.

“Beyond every limit, there is a hope” Apart every sadness, there is glimpse of happiness because life is a full of challenges and separation. With this we come to the end of the day with relishing refreshment.
